Nature on Tap: In Nature, Queer is Everywhere
The Conservancy is co-sponsoring this speaking event with the Harris Center for Conservation Education and Keene Pride. The strength and resiliency of ecosystems depend on diversity. In nature, sex and sexual behavior manifest in countless ways. Forget the talk of βmale,β βfemale,β and gender essentialism. What actually exists? Cosexual trees, gynandromorph butterflies, mushrooms with 20,000+ mating types, and sex-changing species, to name a few.
Space is limited and registration is recommended.

Create Your Own Support Pod for Queer People
At this trans-led workshop for the whole LGBTQIA+ community, the Trans Community Support Group will be teaching a workshop based on a proven method provided by SOIL: Transformative Justice Project. In this workshop, we will be led to build our own "support pods" as a form of community care. Support pods have improved and even saved lives, developing care and support systems for those who experience a lack, especially in relation to sensitive matters. These Support Pods are in line with transformative justice methods, where we depend on ourselves and our trusted community for our care, rather than the defective, authoritarian system. In this workshop, we will begin developing Support Pods (and Pronoun Pins!) for ourselves, and start the year off by putting our care in our own hands.
To read more about Support Pods, click here. This workshop will be led by qualified and documented educators, but not therapists. For therapeutic help, please consult psychologytoday.com or email transsupport@keenepride.org for a list of resources.
Trans Community Support Group
The Trans Community Support group is a collaboration of trans and non-binary community members that want to provide a safe and supportive space to those who identify as trans, non-binary, and trans-questioning folks in the Monadnock region. We will be meeting once a month either on the third or fourth Friday of that month. Here, we will gather in solidarity together as trans (and questioning) community to be with one another and discuss topics that uniquely affect the trans community. For the safety of all members of the group, you must register first to attend meetings.
These meetings are generally organized for ages 18+, however, there are some events put on by the Trans Community Support Group (TCSG) that are welcome to all ages. If you are under 18, you may still register below and we will direct you to trans resources and events made for all ages.
